What Every Child Needs………….FAMILY!!!! Every year children from all over the county have to be removed from their homes and placed in foster care. Many times these children are able to be reunited with their biological parents but occasionally that is not an option and the children then need to be adopted. Children in this situation often times have difficulty adjusting to their new living arrangements, especially if they are placed with a foster/adoptive family outside of the community they were raised in. Children that are able to be placed with a family in their same community often times have an easier time adjusting since they are able to attend the same school, have the same friends and participate in the same activities.
Please consider becoming a foster/adoptive parent and help a child stay in their same community. To learn more about foster care or adoptions, please contact the Parma Area Family Collaborative at 440.887.4873.
